The following course consists of the most popular and modern hairstyles. Hands-on training with an extensive tutorial format. Students will have time to take notes, photos and videos during the demonstrations. The secrets and tips for a beautiful portfolio and much more to get you fully ready to be a successful hairstylist! DURATION: 4 days, 8 academic hours each day (32 academic hours)
The duration of the following one on one private course is equivalent to 64 academic hours of group classes.
COURSE PROGRAM:
Day 1.
1. The introduction into the profession and a pro hairstylist’s look.
2. Theory: hair classification by type and structure of hair. Important rules for working with smooth and porous hair.
3. Product and tool knowledge. The study of professional, luxury and premium hair styling brands in the beauty industry. What’s needed for your professional hairstylist kit, where to purchase it all… and what products are not a good idea to buy :)
4. The secrets of super long lasting, yet not “stiff or greasy looking” hairstyles.
5. Hands-on training with flat irons.
6. Demonstration: “Beach Waves”
7. Demonstraiton: “Mermaid Hair” (hairstyle with twisted pieces).

Day 2.
1. How to create volume in hairstyles. Types of backcombing and teasing.
2. Hands-on training with hair curlers.

4. Demonstration, hands-on practice + photo: “Elegant Ponytail”.
Day 3.
1. Demonstration, hands-on practice + photo: “Barbie Waves” (big voluminous curls).
2. Demonstration, hands-on practice + photo: “Romantic Updo”.
3. Creating the right shape of a hair bun, using different kinds of bun makers to create volume.
Day 4.
1. Demonstration, hands-on practice + photo: “Textured Low Bun”.
2. Psychological aspects in working with brides. Bridal hairstyle rates.
3. Establishing a client base - secrets and tips for a beautiful portfolio, where to find professional photographers and models.
4. The secrets and tips for creating an effective Instagram page and much more to get you fully ready to be a successful hairstylist!
