Oxana reveals the secrets of makeup artists and hairstylists, as well as shares her experience gained with celebrities and fashion houses. All masterclasses consist of the latest techniques and trends.
“PRO MAKEUP ARTIST: BASIC” by Oxana Americana: from introduction to the profession and general knowledge, to fashion and bridal makeup using the latest techniques. Hands-on makeup application of each look with an extensive tutorial format. Students will have time to take notes, photos and videos during the demonstrations. With the personal hands-on training, Oxana’s students are truly ready for the profession after completing the course!
Makeup of luxury, premium and professional brands; makeup brushes, tools and all that is needed for each lesson is provided. Makeup artist work book included.
DURATION: 4 days, 8 academic hours each day (32 academic hours).
The duration of the following one on one private course is equivalent to 64 academic hours of group classes.
COURSE PROGRAM:
Day 1.
1. The introduction into the profession and a pro makeup artist’s look.
2. Theory: face, eyebrow and eye shapes. Corrective makeup techniques. Color theory and skin types.
3. Product knowledge. The study of professional, luxury and premium makeup brands in the beauty industry. What’s needed for your professional makeup artist kit, where to purchase it all… and what products are not a good idea to buy :)
4. Essential pieces of equipment and makeup brushes knowledge. Hygiene and sanitation, storage.
5. "Glowy Nude" makeup demonstration: powder vs cream contouring, the creation of fresh skin with delicate radiance, classic eye makeup, the “kissed lips” look. Brow architecture.
Day 2.
1. Hands-on makeup application + photo: "Glowy Nude" makeup with cream contouring, classic eye makeup and the “kissed lips” look. Brow architecture.
2. Demonstration, hands-on makeup application + photo: "Hollywood Glam” with smoked out winged eyeliner, bronzed skin and bright ombre lips.
4. All about false lashes. Demonstration, hands-on application.
Day 3.
1. Psychological aspects in working with brides. Bridal makeup rates.
2. The secrets of super long lasting, yet tender wedding makeup.
3. Demonstration, hands-on makeup application + photo: “Modern Wedding Makeup”. Must have products for working with brides.
4. Demonstration, hands-on makeup application + photo: “Smokey Eyes”. All about liquid and cream eyeshadows.
Day 4.
1. All about working at fashion shows and photo shoots.
2. Demonstration, hands-on makeup application + photo: “Fashion makeup” for runways and editorials.
3. Establishing a client base - secrets and tips for a beautiful portfolio, where to find professional photographers and models.
4. The secrets and tips for creating an effective Instagram page and much more to get you fully ready to be a successful makeup artist!
COURSE COST: 44 000 rub.
To enroll in the course, a 30% deposit (from the price of the course) is required upon registration.
